If You Care For Me

Se mi Vuoi Bene

A man with a knack for accidentally setting off catastrophes decides to help his friends but causes more trouble in this bittersweet comedy starring the hilarious Claudio Bisio.

Diego (Bisio), a successful lawyer, is chronically depressed. One day he meets Massimiliano (Sergio Rubini), owner of an eccentric shop in Chiacchiere that sells nothing except conversation. By chatting with him, Diego understands the solution to get out of his emotional slump is to do good for his loved ones.

With his new friend Massimiliano's help, Diego identifies the problems that he believes afflict his mother, father, brother, daughter, friends, even his ex-wife and concocts an elaborate plan. Unfortunately for them, Diego's best-laid plans often end up causing them the most trouble. But all is not lost, as he is determined to get it right this time.

Based on his eponymous novel and featuring a brilliant ensemble cast, writer-director Fausto Brizzi delivers a reflective comedy about friendship and the importance of listening to each other.

A perfectly balanced bittersweet comedy.
